The Practice Longevity Herbal Pharmacy is comprised of over 350 single herbs. With a single Chinese Herb pharmacy, the possibility exists to design thousands of different modern and traditional formulas.

Because our formulas are not pre-mixed, we can design each formula specifically for the intended patient. This targeted approach to Chinese Herbal medicine can provide better results in a shorter period of time.

Each time we refill a prescription, we can modify the dosage of single herbs, and add or subtract individual herbs to further specialize the formula to fit the patient and eliminate side effects.

The Practice Longevity Chinese Herbal Pharmacy is stocked with granular extracts of single Chinese Herbs. These herbs are first prepared according to traditional methods, then extracted with solvent and pollutant free water, and lastly evaporated and granulized into fine powders.

These granules are very potent in small dosages, and free from unnecessary non-herbal additives, which can often be the cause of digestive complaints while taking herbs.

Our herbs are made with pharmaceutical precision in order to achieve optimum potency, purity, and safety.

Our herbs have been manufactured under a set of guidelines known as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). There are two types of GMP - food GMP standards and pharmaceutical GMP standards. Both standards ensure quality and safety, but pharmaceutical GMP have more rigid standards.

While most herbs consumed in the U.S. are made under food GMP standards, our herbs are are made under bio-medical laboratory conditions and meet pharmaceutical GMP standards.
