Why our prices are so low

The average rate for Acupuncture treatment is $65 per treatment. Although this may be a reasonable price for some, it may be inaccessible or unsustainable for many others. Our goal is to provide high quality acupuncture treatments at affordable rates to everyone.

Our “Pay what you can afford pricing” is designed to minimize the issue of cost as a barrier to treatment and allows you to have treatments as often as your condition requires.

Quality healthcare should be available to everyone, regardless of income. We hope our method of pricing provides a small step toward this goal.

How it works

When you come in for your first consultation & evaluation (one time cost of $30), we will discuss the treatment options for your condition. Based on that information, you choose a price that fits your budget. This program is based on trust and respect, thus we will never ask you to prove your financial circumstance.

Please be mindful that we also have families, financial obligations, and business costs, so please pay what you can afford. Thank you.

How we price Chinese Herbs & Supplements

Chinese Herbs are one of the most powerful tools within Oriental Medicine. We use the highest quality single herb granule extracts available, and combine them into a formula to meet your unique needs. We offer these herbs at a low cost to you.

Sometimes we will recommend nutritional supplements, such as ‘practitioner-grade’ multiple vitamins, essential fatty acids, etc. We do not want to appear to be pushing these supplements on you in order to increase our profits - thats not what we are about.

We purchase the highest quality supplements, which are not sold to “non-practitioners”, and offer them at a 20% discount. Profits from our supplements help maintain the viability of our “Sustainable Acupuncture” program.

Type of payments accepted

Our preferred method of payments are cash and checks. We also accept MasterCard and Visa. Payment is due at the time of your visit.

We are happy to print receipts for you to provide to your insurance company, however we typically do not bill your insurance company directly.

NOTE: Acupuncture treatments & Herbs are tax-deductible medical expenses. Please consult your tax advisor and refer to IRS Publication 502 for more details. For a more in-depth article, please visit: Is Acupuncture Tax Deductible?.
